Get your facts right before you edit
[edit]Hi, I just noticed that you made some changes on Tahoe. You said that "South Lake Tahoe" is the largest city in Tahoe. i think you're a little mixed up here. The name of the city is Statline, named because the statline runs through it. It just happens to be in South lake Tahoe. South lake Tahoe is just a region. Nothing personal, I was just working on the article, and saw you made some changes which were factualy incorect. Please check your facts before you edit in the future. - Well it looks like your right. Sotuh Lake Tahoe is a city as well as a region, sorry about that one, however, it is not the largest city in Tahoe, statlline is. Looks like we were both right and both wrong, (about diffrent things) Sorry about the whole mix up. Tobyk777 03:17, 4 October 2005 (UTC)
- You just proved your point. You were right on everything. Thanks for staighting me up on that. Sorry if I caused you any problems. 03:03, 5 October 2005 (UTC)

Record label external links
[edit]Thanks for your message. I removed the ex. links on the page List of record labels starting with D because none of the other links on that page has an external link to the label. Same for A through to Z too. You're more than welcome to create a full article for that label and to include an external link from that. Lugnuts 09:40, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
- Sorry, you're wrong. Look at this. Lugnuts 14:36, 28 January 2007 (UTC)
- Jesus wept - are you still banging on about this?! In the time it's taken you to moan on about it, you could of created the article in question! Haha. Lugnuts 13:11, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
- too obscure to warrant articles, but OK to link to some website? Hmmmm... Lugnuts 14:14, 3 February 2007 (UTC)
- Because only 1 of them is likely to get deleted. BAM!! Lugnuts 18:21, 3 February 2007 (UTC)

Tuff Turf
[edit]A "{{prod}}" template has been added to the article Tuff Turf, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but yours may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Notability of Satan Jokers
[edit]A tag has been placed on Satan Jokers requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. tomasz. 11:41, 30 October 2007 (UTC)

USS Missouri
[edit]I just noticed that you made an edit with new information to USS Missouri (BB-63) that lacked an appropriate citation. Please revisit this edit and source it properly, because the article is a Featured article, there should not be any unreferenced information in the article and I do not intend to let the information stand in the article uncited for long. -MBK004 22:10, 1 November 2009 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs
[edit]Hello Neanderthalprimadonna! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 3 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 617 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:
- Aynsley Dunbar - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Glynnis O'Connor - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Alan Fitzgerald - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL

A tag has been placed on File:Rocky Pamplin, University of Oregon Football.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image licensed as "for non-commercial use only," "non-derivative use" or "used with permission," it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content. [1], and it was either uploaded on or after 2005-05-19, or is not used in any articles. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then:
- state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
- add the relevant copyright tag.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 15:51, 21 June 2014 (UTC)
