Bell Labs show Casimir force on nano machine

A very interesting article about the work Bell Labs has been doing to look into the potential problems of "Nano bots" due to zero-point energy.

Alternative theories
[edit]The section on "Alternative theories" has two paragraphs. The first one discusses alternative analysis and the second paragraph refutes it. The second paragraph misconstrues Jaffe. Jaffe is saying that vacuum fluctuations are needed by QED, but they are not real. His last sentence:
- Still, no known phenomenon, including the Casimir effect, demonstrates that zero point energies are “real”.
