Abuse allegations against Mia
[edit]Many of her kids have accused her of abuse. I’m presuming this has been scrubbed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A02:C7F:18AE:4900:C9F9:77BC:2ECA:7C2A (talk) 23:55, 2 March 2021 (UTC)
This edit
[edit][1], with the extraordinarily WP:OWN order in the edit summary that we are not allowed to touch this edit, seems highly WP:UNDUE and pushing a WP:SYNTH argument. Mia Farrow's relationships, good and bad, with her children are of course pertinent, but this clearly one-sided soapbox of a section does not seem encyclopedic to me.--Tenebrae (talk) 22:36, 14 March 2021 (UTC)
While I think it's necessary for the allegations to be at least mentioned, this is clearly editorialising. Soon-Yi's ‘Let’s Not Get Hysterical’ and Moses' ‘A Son Speaks Out’ should be added to References and the paragraphs need to be trimmed down, while quoting is allowed, I think this is in violation of WP:NPS Roan Asher (talk) 14:43, 22 March 2021 (UTC)
Tam's death
[edit]For years, the article has claimed that Mia's daughter Tam died 'after a long illness'. I tracked this edit down to Aug 7th, 2013. The source referred to explicitly denies that mention was made of a 'long illness'. Nor has Mia claimed in any other verifiable source that Tam died 'after a long illness', so I want to remove these words.
Furthermore, Mia has recently confirmed Moses' claim that Tam died after an overdose of a prescription medication. I want to add this confirmation to the article, referring to this source: 'Mia Farrow Reflects on Her Children’s Deaths' or to Mia's original tweet (her chosen medium for publishing her claims).
Because this is sensitive stuff, I announce my two edits here. If you see reason to not make this edits, or if you have any advice on how to make them, please respond. Mcouzijn (talk) 21:26, 22 August 2021 (UTC)
Haunting of Julia 1977, also known as Full Circle isn't listed.
[edit]Movie, Haunting of Julia 1977, also known as Full Circle isn't listed. Very scary and one of her best. 2001:579:E020:1D:2DAE:1811:FEAB:BDD4 (talk) 21:04, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
NPOV: Abuse allegation against Allen
[edit]This section overly favours one position over the other, I think. 216.106.104.39 (talk) 13:58, 8 May 2023 (UTC)
Categories
[edit]The article has Farrow listed under Category:American actresses with disabilities and Category:American activists with disabilities. However, and maybe I missed it, nowhere in the article does it state she has any disabilities. It mentions that she contracted polio as a child, but doesn't mention any disability from it (and many people have contracted polio and either suffered no disability, or the disability resolved after some time). If the article doesn't address a disability, should she be in those categories? cheers. anastrophe, an editor he is. 05:00, 15 November 2024 (UTC)
