I think my phrase "human ... gait" is needed, to distinguish from pack animals, but i'm unsure what to add as a means of "paying off" its use. I'm pretty hesitant to speculate in the article as to the possibility of equidae, goats, yaks(?), and Andeanungulates that participate in mountaineering using a quadrupedal rest step! --Jerzy(t) 15:24, 2004 Oct 25 (UTC)
