Some of the material recently added to this article by Retroauro is very similar to Gundappa Viswanath's profile on Cricinfo, which makes me suspicious it's been lifted from an edition of Wisden or something similar. Any thoughts? --Ngb 00:25, 9 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Only that Retroauro has been adding info to a quite a few Indian players recently. All worthy of larger articles, but not plagiarised ones. Is he précising, or actually copying? jguk 00:28, 9 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Can you please tone down the language a bit to make the recent changes more in an encyclopaedia format than an article one. I removed the last line - SMG played in only two Tests. He was twice hit on the thumb during domestic matches which put him out of three Tests (the injuries were not caused by West Indian bowlers - one was by Pandurang Salgaonkar of Maharashtra, can't remember the other). I think we need to re-look at the info available on past indian cricketers. the article has very little information and content cannot be considered as encyclopedic in nature. Kalyan11:54, 4 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
